A crash involving a motorcyclist Saturday at 5:21 p.m.

HARRISON COUNTY, Ind. (WDRB) — Officers from the Harrison County Police Department were dispatched to a crash involving a motorcyclist Saturday at 5:21 p.m.

The crash occurred on Highway 64, west of Greenbrier Road northeast.

Officials say preliminary investigation showed a male driving his motorcycle eastbound on Highway 64 when he crashed into a tree.

Witnesses say the driver crossed the center line, then went back into his lane. The motorcycle wobbled and went off the south side of the road.

The driver was thrown off the bike, which hit a tree. The driver collided with the rear fender of the bike and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His identity has not yet been released.
